capito, in rete cmq ho trovato questo:

The most common reasons for an iPhone not recognising a TravelSIM card is either that the handset is locked or the handset has not properly been unlocked.

If the handset is locked, you will need to contact your service proviver to have it unlocked.

If you have already had your iPhone unlocked and the handset still is not recognising the TravelSIM, the you will need to ensure you have also completed the following steps:

1. Resync your iPhone with iTunes. This completes the unlocking process

2. Allow iTunes to complete a software upgrade

Only when you have synced and upgraded will the locking process be complete and your iPhone will recognise your TravelSIM.

HINT: You can double check if you handset is locked by testing to see if you can select a network (carrier). To do this you access Settings. If you can see Carrier in the submenu you are unlocked - if not then you are still locked.
che, a meno che non scarichi un carrier bundle apposito, non mi sembra risolva niente... cmq prova a vedere cosa succede

PS: ma vuoi usare l'iPhone per svenarti in roaming dati?
