I use 3-Italy , the largest UMTS operator in Italy. This carrier uses national roaming with TIM network for calls and SMS, but not for datas. So, if the iphone is connected to TIM Network, the iphone does not recognize that it's in roaming state, and continues connecting on the net over GPRS/3G, by charging additional fee on the bill, EVEN IF i mark the flag "data roaming" disabled.
