Visualizzazione Stampabile
Ho provato un po' la prima release beta di BBM per Windows Phone. Devo dire che si vede che hanno cercato di fare un bel lavoro di integrazione ed utilizzo dell'interfaccia Windows, ma per ora è ancora molto limitata e poco utilizzabile.
Le funzioni di base sembrano essere ben implementate, però manca - ad esempio - la possibilità di impostare le notifiche selettive.
Aspetto almeno una beta 2 o 3 prima di esprimermi nuovamente :)
Hanno cercato si, ma al momento é piena di problemi e va pure a drenare la batteria. Aggiungo poi che é un servizio che usano oramai poche persone. Peccato...
E' arrivato il primo questionario relativo alle impressioni su questa build... :P Poverini, penso che avranno una media voti mooooolto scarsa :(
Mai usato... Cosa offre in più rispetto a Whatsapp/WeChat/Telegram/FacebookMessenger/iMessage/ChiPiuNeHaPiuNeMetta???
La cosa "triste" è che BBM è arrivato molto prima di tutti quelli che citi, ed era la soluzione di messaggistica migliore in circolazione, solo che è rimasta ristretta ai device BlackBerry fino a quando non si sono resi conto che - grazie a quelle e ad altre App - gli altri ecosistemi guadagnavano utenti anche tra chi utilizzava principalmente sistemi di IM.
Lo hanno allora aggiornato e iniziato a portare su varie piattaforme. E, secondo me, il fatto che ora abbiano ceduto anche alla conversione su WP, vuol dire che l'ipotizzata strada di separare completamente BBM dalla "madre" BlackBerry è sempre più probabile.
Con gli ultimi aggiornamenti (che però non sono ancora ben inseriti nella versione WP) è diventato ancora più un sistema di messaggistica affidabile e sicuro, ma probabilmente fuori tempo massimo per il mercato consumer. Sembra invece che stiano puntando ulteriormente sulla sicurezza delle trasmissioni dei messaggi, per cercare di tornare ad avere il predominio nel mondo business/enterprise.

Come hai detto, (quasi) sempre prevalgono le esigenze del mercato consumer, che di sicurezza non frega una beata fava! Non ho mai capito il successo di Whatsapp (per dirne una), come d'altronde tutta la "politica" di ridurre la socializzazione a dei semplici caratteri sugli schermi.
Non ha nulla a che vedere con il thread, e per questo chiedo scusa, ma mi sto (sempre di più) rendendo conto di come siamo ridotti...��
Arrivata stanotte la terza release beta (la seconda era di un paio di giorni fa, stanno andando rapidamente)
Si ma non va ancora bene. Molte volte quando la apro non mi segnala nessun contatto e nessuna conversazione. Sembra quasi che non mi faccia il login...
Non l'ho ancora vista per bene. Comunque apprezzo che abbiano messo la live tile trasparente :)
A me la precedente build si bloccava spesso sul logo BBM su sfondo azzurro all'avvio, questa per ora almeno sembra non farlo.
La cosa che ODIO e che me lo rende inutilizzabile è che, pur impostando le notifiche specifiche per i singoli gruppi di cui faccio parte, mi arrivano comunque le notifiche. Ed avendo delle chat inutili attive che con il BB ignoravo, con questo non posso. E così mi è toccato disattivare le notifiche del tutto e lasciare solo la Live Tile.
Arrivata la versione pubblica, peccato che bisogna disinstallare la beta e ricaricare quella pubblica...
Ma ha senso? Cioè, presumo che la beta pubblica riceverà meno update di quella privata, perlomeno a rigor di logica...
Credo che la beta privata sia morta da adesso in poi visto che hanno già annunciato di stare lavorando ad una versione 2. Comunque anche questa funziona malino, almeno a me...

Notification Improvements
Providing impactful notifications to users has long been one of the aspects of BBM that our users love. We’re taking that a step further in improving the BBM for Windows :
· BBM for Windows will now see message details as part of the notification without having to open the app
· BBM users that send their BBM for Windows Phone friends a message will now see a “D” even if their Windows Phone friend doesn’t have BBM running
· The new notification number displayed will now indicate the number of new chats (previously displayed the total number of new messages)

Since the last BBM v1 for Windows Phone beta build, we’ve also introduced:
· People you know suggestions now appear full screen during setup
· Invitation screen updates
· Long press to move contact into category
· UI treatment to make groups stand out in contact list

Software Quality Improvements
The story for this updated version of BBM for Windows Phone doesn’t end with the new features. We’ve carefully pursued through issues that you’ve raised on the discussions forums and other feedback tools to target software quality improvements for this release too. The most notable software fixes are below:
· Selecting BBM contact crashes app after changing BBID password
· BBM stops responding when using emoticons
· Portion of BBM screen gets black for some time while selecting contacts to invite to a group after it has been created
· Chats- Share location- Map not displaying the accurate location when tapped on the chat bubble
· User is taken to the sent invitation tab on hitting back after opening an email invite
· Invitation: Scanning barcode seen in scanning device screen become stretched
· Invites: Contact is not adding directly to the users contact
· Feeds: Text 'No updates' displayed instead of 'No new items'
Known Issues
· Notifications for received location are not received on the home screen; only after opening BBM
· Notifications for received pictures do not handle the HQ automatic request
· Notification not received when a user leaves multi-chat. Only after open BBM the notification is received
· No notifications when users join a group
· Group picture comment top notification has no content after the colon
· Existing contacts show on the list of "Find friends" and "Add, Invite to BBM"
· After 3 notifications (3 chats) subsequent notifications are not received, sometimes no notifications at all
· Only 4 notifications for voice note received out of 7
· The notification number indicator is out of sync with the notification on the top of the screen
