Finalmente dopo tanta attesa N85 e N79: disponibile il nuovo firmware 20.175
E’ da oggi disponibile il nuovo firmware dell’N79, il candybar della Nseries erede dell’N73. Si tratta della versione 20.175 che va a rimpiazzare la precedente 11.049. Quindi si tratta di un aggiornamento parecchio consistente, soprattutto dal punto di vista dei bug corretti. Come al solito è P@sco a fornirci il changelog completo.
Tra le novità la più importante è probabilmente quella del plug-in nella schermata principale per la notifica delle email in arrivo. Non so se questo comporti anche la presenza di Nokia Messaging preinstallato. Il nuovo fimrware è disponibile via Nokia Software Updater (NSU) ma dovrebbe esserlo anche via OTA (Over-The-Air). UPDATE - Anche l’N85, il dual slide presentato insieme all’N79 lo scorso agosto, ha ricevuto oggi un aggiornamento del firmware. Si tratta anche in questo caso della versione 20.175 che va a sostituire la 11.047 uscita all’inizio di dicembre. La novità più importante è, come per l’N79, il plug-in per le email nell’homescreen. Purtroppo non è reperibile al momento un changelog completo. Il nuovo firmware è disponibile via NSU e probabilmente anche via OTA.
